Alebrijes are fantastical animal paper mache creations in the style of Mexican artist Pedro Linares. This traditional artform creates animal hybrids out of paper, and/or aluminum foil/wire, glue, and your hands. You may be familiar with the colorful tiger with wings from the film Coco. This workshop will guide participants through the process of designing, constructing, and painting their creations.
