Members of Family Roots Wisconsin hold their monthly genealogy meeting on the third Saturday of each month at 9:00am in the lower level Company E Room of the library.   Their meeting is usually followed with time for brainstorming on genealogy or helping others with genealogy searches.  Periodically, there may be a speaker who presents on:

  • researching genealogy, 
  • local events in history,
  • historical events that may have had an impact on your ancestors, or
  • a genealogy story.

Laptops and Chromebooks are available at the workshop; access to is always free inside library.

The general public is invited.   

All programs at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library are free and for everyone.  Those with special needs are encouraged to call the library office at 920.967.3662 within 24 hours of an event to assure that specific needs with regards to parking, building and meeting room accessibility are met.
