How to Run for Office

Thinking of running for office or supporting a candidate's campaign? Get details and legal requirements.

Sue Ertmer, Winnebago County Clerk, will explain the steps candidates need to take to get their names on the ballot, how to fill out the necessary forms required by the Government Accountability Board in Madison, and how to handle campaign financial matters.

Representatives of local offices will explain the opportunities and challenges of their particular office. 

Held in the library's lower level Gegan Room.  This is a free workshop sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Winnebago County.  No registration is required.
