Learning series that will provide ideas to make your home more energy efficient - A six week program every Tuesday at 10 am.

Experts from Focus on Energy and Menasha Utilities will present several topics and information to learn about available technical assistance & rebates.

Duration: 1 hour

9/12:  Home Performance: insulation, weatherization, smart thermostats and blower door tests

9/19:  Ventilation: moisture, mold, ice dams, attic and roof ventilation

9/26:  Heating & Cooling: mini-splits, ductless heat pumps, SEER/EER ratings & seasonal comfort

10/3:  Lighting: LED, watts vs lumens, lighting facts

10/10: Energy Star: ES ratings, energy guide, focus on energy market place

10/17: Lead Water Service Program: update from Menasha Utilities

All programs at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library are free and for everyone.  Those with special needs are encouraged to call the library office at 920.967.3662 within 24 hours of an event to assure that specific needs with regards to parking, building and meeting room accessibility are met.

The library’s main program room is equipped with a hearing loop, which will transmit to headphone receivers that are available upon request or to your own hearing device with a t-coil.
