Teens and Tweens in Grades 4-8 were invited to a free Electronics/Gaming Party on Tuesday, March 25th.   High school students from the gaming club at Menasha High School brought in their games, such as Guitar Hero, Mario, Naruto and others, to help younger kids learn to play them.  Fifteen kids attended this fun evening.  Many thanks to the Menasha High School Gamer's Club for sharing their games and know-how. read more »

Children's Author Coming to Menasha!

Rick Chrustowski will do a presentation for the public as part of an Earth Day celebration at the Heckrodt Wetland Reserve.

Chrustowski, a Wisconsin author (http://www.rickchrustowski.com/), is the writer and illustrator of a number of science picture books for children. He uses dramatic close-ups to give children a memorable look into the life cycle of creatures common to our area. His books, written for children ages 4-8, are well reviewed and found in libraries, schools and bookstores throughout the country. Children can explore many literacies - nature, ecology and reading - just by turning the colorful pages and engaging in Mr. Chrustowksi's wonderful writing style read more »

Teens and Tweens Electronics Gaming Party

Teens in Grades 4-8 are invited to a free Electronics/Gaming Party. High school students from the gaming club at Menasha High School will bring in their games, such as Guitar Hero, Mario, Tetris, and others, to help younger kids learn to play them. There will also be board games such as Clue, Life, and Monopoly. Teens are invited to bring Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh cards for trading before the electronic games session. No registration necessary for this free event. read more »
