Meet Abraham Lincoln

Thursday, April 4, at 2:00pm

Everyone is invited to join us for an afternoon with President Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln Impersonator Kevin Wood will be here to present A New Birth of Freedom, an historical narrative centering on twelve turbulent years in U.S. history from 1854 to 1865 when the issue of slavery, which had been divisive from the very beginning of our country, came to a head and nearly broke our country apart.

Mr. Lincoln’s story includes the events that led him into politics in the mid-1850s, the ever-escalating tension throughout the country regarding slavery laws, his election as President, and the Civil War.
