The library's art wall features an exhibit of Maps of the Western United States 1688-1857 during the month of October. Meet with Tom Sutter, curator of the exhibit, to view the maps on display and ask questions.

At 2:00pm on Sunday, October 21, we will have a special presentation of great Maps of the Western United States prepared as part of the Pacific Railroad Survey in the 1850s. Following the presentation there will be a surprise guest speaker--a famous explorer of the western United States. And there will be many other maps and books on display on that Sunday.
