Beading for Gifts

Handmade gifts are the most personal and appreciated.  Are you planning on making gifts for the holidays? We have a basic beading class to get you started.

This is your opportunity to re-purpose a piece of jewelry or make a few special gifts.

Registration is limited. To register, stop in at the Reference Desk, call us at 920.967.3690, or send us an email message.

Location: Gegan Room, lower level

Duration: 2 hours

Please bring along the following items to this class:

Ziploc bags small size
Size #5 or #4 jump rings
Beading needles (Size 10/13)
Several tube shaped crimp beads
Nylon coated wire (spool) varies in prices
Magnetic closures or lobster clasps
Assortment of beads
Optional:  a piece of jewelry you would like to re-purpose

Program made possible by the library endowment fund's Sara Loescher Fund. All programs at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library are free and for everyone.  Those with special needs are encouraged to call the library office at 920.967.3662 within 24 hours of an event to assure that specific needs with regards to parking, building and meeting room accessibility are met.
