Menasha's Memory Café moves to the library.
Wednesday, October 18, at 1:30pm
The Memory Café that was meeting at the Menasha Senior Center is moving to the library.
The Café welcomes those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss, or cognitive impairment as well as family and friends of those affected.
This is an opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie, and creative fun. This program is designed and hosted by the Fox Valley Memory Project; call Lynn Ann at 920.225.1711 for more information or visit their website.
Today's topic: Superstitions! Did your mom or dad shake salt over their shoulder? Were you afraid if a black cat crossed your path? Bring your best memories to share our beliefs and disbeliefs in superstitions. As Halloween approaches, our project will reflect some fun and creativity with an artistic masquerade mask.
Location: Activity Room
Duration: 1.5 hours
