Hidden Sources: Finding Genealogy Information in Unlikely Places

Family Roots Wisconsin hosts Joshua Ranger from the University of WIsconsin-Oshkosh Polk Library who will review some of these hidden sources to help you gain better understanding of these oft-overlooked opportunities.

Many genealogists are quite familiar with some of the major records in family history research: vital records, census and newspapers as well as military, court and land/tax records.  There are a great many other archival records that have been preserved that contain unique information important to researchers.
