Donations are needed for next weekend's Used Book Sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Menasha Public Library. Books, videos, CDs, children's materials, audiobooks and DVDs will be accepted at either the Circulation or Reference Desk. The schedule for the Sale is as follows:

The library has decided to extend its September Book Sale by having a FREE book event. You can come in and get as many books as you like from our book sale room at no charge!
Come early, take plenty!

"Used Book Sale", Lower Level
The Friends of the Menasha Public Library will host a Used Book Sale:
Fri., Sept. 21st, 4:00-8:00 pm (Early Bird Sale-$3.00/person)
Sat., Sept. 22nd, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Mon., Sept. 24th, 9:00 am-4:00 pm
Mon., Sept. 24th, 5:30 pm-8:00 pm (Bag Sale-$4.00/bag)
Donated and withdrawn Library items will be available for purchase. Materials include books, CDs, videos, children's books, books on tape and CD, etc. with prices ranging from $.25 - $2.00/item. If you would like to donate your time as a Book Sale Volunteer, or you are interested in joining the Friends' group, please contact Kathy at 967-3690.
Do you know how to throw a really terrific kids' party? Do you have a hobby that kids would love to learn more about? Are you artsy and crafty? Have you always dreamed of being a costumed character? The Children's Department is looking for volunteers who would love to add their special bit of pizzazz to programs. We would like to know of your skills and those extra elements of fun you bring that would partner well with our ideas. If you are interested in being a part of Parents as Partners, please contact the Children's Department staffers at 967-3670. Your help would be appreciated as we encourage literacy while having loads of fun at Menasha Library.
