Amber Patrick-Art Wall

During September, the Library will focus on the disturbing issue of Human/Sex Trafficking.  Local graphic artist, Amber Patrick, has her photography exhibit, "30 Pieces of Silver", on display in the Miron Fireside Room.  Each piece provides statistics, i.e.,  the average age of children lured into "street slavery", the life expectancy of a prostitute, how victims are often tricked into the trade by responding to ads for models, and more.

This exhibit complements the showing of the film, "Nefarious" on Wednesday, September 10, and, the presentation and talk on "Human/SexTrafficking" by 5-Stones on Wednesday, September 17.
