Teachers

Book Packs

Need additional books and resources to support your curriculum with the students? Then teacher packs may be for you. Each pack is carefully prepared by our literature specialists and contains a wide variety of excellent material. You may check a pack out for 4-6 weeks.

Class Visits

The library can be a mighty confusing place for students working on research papers and information. The Library offers specialized tours that help familiarize students with available print, non-print and on-line reference resources to make all their information searches as easy as a walk in the park. For preschool and elementary children, we provide specialized introductory tours that explore the collections and resources of the Children's Department and include a fun story or activity.

Teacher Cards

Need materials for your classroom and reluctant to use your own personal library card? Then you need a "teacher card"! You can apply for your own teacher card for use at libraries in the Winnefox system (Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Ripon, Fond du Lac and more!). You may reserve and renew materials on-line with this card and there are no fines. If you don’t have yours yet, stop in at the Children's Info Desk to fill out the application and receive this helpful "teacher" card as a special benefit.

Apply for a card.

Outreach Visits

Librarians offer outreach presentations at your location on Menasha history booktalks, stories and other specialized presentations at elementary, middle and high schools, daycares and preschools in Menasha.

Cooperative Programs

The Library works cooperatively with schools and community organizations to develop and present programs for children, teens and adults. Examples of successful partnerships include: WInter Reading Programs; special book buying clubs; drama workshops; visits by authors and illustrators; holiday parties; bilingual programs - these are just a few of the many projects and programs we have partnered with groups to accomplish. If you are part of a school staff or community organization and have an idea that you would like the library to partner with you on, please contact us!
