Bears, bears, bears, we love bears!
This week in story time with Dewey the Dragon and I, Miss Liz, we read all about one of our favorite animals: bears! Bears come in lots of different sizes and colors - like black bears, grizzly bears, polar bears, and sun bears! We learned how to use American Sign Lanuage to say "bear" and sang The Bear Went Over the Mountain using our new ASL skills! After reading our stories which included A Visitor for Bear by Bonny Becker , Bears! Bears! Bears by Bob Barner , and About a Bear by Holly Surplice , we made our own bear puppets to take home with us.
Thanks for joining us this week! Story time will continue next week Monday & Tuesday mornings at 10am and Monday evening at 6:30pm. See you soon!
P.S. Want to hear me, Miss Liz, read Bob Barner's Bears, Bears, Bears to you even though you missed story time? Check out our A Story Before Bed page where I've used a new online service to record picture books just for you to listen to!
