Family story time has returned for the fall!
Story times returned to the Menasha Library Children's Room last week! Dewey the Dragon and I, Miss Liz, were so happy to see so many new faces this semester so far! For our first week of story time fun, we read all about the color red! Red shows up all over during the fall season - in the turning leaves, in crisp juicy apples, and in our story time books! Together we read Ten Red Apples by Virginia Miller , Red Wagon by Renata Liwska , and The Little Mouse, the Ripe Red Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood . We also practiced singing our alphabet with Alphabet Train from Just For Fun by Jean Feldman . After story time, our friends worked hard on their own twirling ladybug crafts to take home.
Thanks for joining us for a brand new story time semester! We'll be back next week Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10am and Monday evening at 6:30pm for more story time fun! Families are also invite to join us Tuesday evening September 17th at 6:30pm for a classic family movie night with a showing of Mary Poppins (along with some free popcorn!) See you soon!
