Hear your candidates for Menasha Alderman and Town of Menasha Supervisor.
The League of Women Voters of Winnebago County is holding a forum in the lower level Company E meeting room including candidates for contested aldermanic seats in Menasha, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. Rebecca Nichols and incumbent Chris Klein, who are vying for Aldermanic District 1, and Michael Keehan and incumbent Steve Krueger, who are vying for Aldermanic District 5, will present statements and answer questions. District 1 encompasses the city’s portion of Doty Island and downtown; District 5 is on the northwest side of the city. The city clerk’s office at 967-3600 can provide more information on district boundaries.
Candidates for Town of Menasha supervisor will begin their statements at around 7:15 p.m. Supervisor candidates are Robert Mazur and incumbent Barbara Hanson, who are running for Supervisor 2, and Nicholas Gebert and incumbent Michael Dillon, who are running for Supervisor 4. All town residents may vote for both supervisor positions.
Written questions will be accepted from those attending the forum. The candidates will be on the ballot in the April 2 election.
