Whooo! Whooo! I spy an owl!

We had another great week of Family Story Times!  On Monday with Dewey and I (Miss Liz) we read all about owls.  From a little owl who did not like to stay up late [3] (like good owls should), and a little owl who fell out of his tree [4], owls who missed their mother very much [5], and finally to an owl who stayed awake all day long to see all the beautiful daytime colors [6], our stories helped us learn a lot about owls.  We even practiced counting with owls on our flannelboard and singing our ABC's to Rockin' the Alphabet [7].  After our story time, we decorated our own paper owls [8] with crayons, googly eyes and feathers to take home. 

Family story times return next week Monday Oct. 15th at 10am & 6:30pm with me, Miss Liz and on Tuesday Oct. 16th at 10am with Miss Pippi!  See you soon!
