[2]It's beginning to look like fall outside!
This week in story time with Dewey & Miss Liz, we read all about fall leaves. How do we know that its fall? The leaves change colors! During the summer, leaves on the trees are green but during the fall they turn bright yellow, orange, and red! We read about one little yellow leaf who was hanging onto its tree branch until the very last minute [3], we found out what happened when the leaf blew in [4], we met the leaf man [5], and read about all the fun things there are to do in the fall [6]! We even sang about the color changing leaves [7] before making our very own paper leaves with bright tissue paper. It was a great day to celebrate fall!
