Soup is a great way to warm up on a cold day. We celebrated soup last Tuesday at storytime. Following the snowmen storytime, it's reminiscent of an old Campbell's commerical about a snowman eating soup and revealing a child underneath. It might be cold but we didn't need to turn into to snowmen to enjoy some silly soupy stories. Our stories included Duck Soup, Slop Goes the Soup and Pickles in My Soup. We also sang and danced to Laurie Berkner's crazy soup song and a vegetable soup song about carrots, celery, onions and potatoes.
Join us next week for another great storytime and craft session at the library. Miss Liz shares stories on Monday at 10am and 6:30pm. Miss Pippi shares stories on Tuesday at 10am. You can also join us for Japanese Doll Day and Dr. Seuss Party on Tuesday, March 6th at 4pm and 6:30pm. We can't wait to see you at the library!
