In the jungle!

This week, Dewey and our story time friends took a trip into the jungle!  We read all about the different jungle animals, what it might be like to BE a jungle animal, and helped Mama Jojo find her Baby Jazzy lost in the jungle!  We danced the Jungle Boogie, sang about a sleeping lion, and even did our best lion and monkey impressions!  After story time, we all make lion faces with paper plates, glue, and crayons - check out the library's flickr page for more photos of story time and lion-making fun!  If you're looking for more fun in the jungle, check out these titles here in the Children's Room: Over in the Jungle: A Rainforest Rhyme by Marianne Berkes, Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae, Quiet! by Paul Bright, or Hippo Goes Bananas! by Marjorie Dennis Murray.  Have a wonderful week - Miss Pippi and I are looking forward to seeing you all next week for more story time fun at the library!
