Cool Camps for Tweens Kids going into 4th-6th grade

Kids going into grades 4th-6th are invited to participate in weeklong "Cool Camps" throughout the summer on Tuesdays-Thursdays from 1:00-2:00. Sign-up begins Monday June 9. Kids can sign up for up to two different camps. Attendance at all three days is required.

The camps include:

June 17-19     Krazy 4U Crafts
Kids will make Hannah Montana headbands, friendship bracelets, temporary tattoos, bead crafts, and experiment with hair art. Don't miss out on this cool fun!

June 24-26     Story Wizards/Podcasting Camp
Become a storyteller! We'll learn how to tell a short story we all know with flair, record it for podcasting and tell our stories to little kids at their Book Venture Storytime on Thursday, June 26

July 8-10     Wrist Buddy Camp
Make stories come alive through puppetry! We'll have a blast creating characters and doing a puppet play for little kids at their Book Venture Storytime on Thursday July 10

July 15-17     Poetry Slam/Podcasting Camp
Budding authors, come to a poetry slam and a super intense writing workshop. Then perform your work and hear yourself on a podcast that will be mounted on our webpage!

July 29-31     Ravin' on Faves/Podcasting Camp
Tell us about your favorite books, authors and movies. We'll write up and podcast your reviews and put them on our webpage. Don't be shy, tell us those faves!
