I'm Looking Over a Five Leaf Clover!

Which is luckier - three leaves, four leaves or five leaves? The winner was the five leaf clover because five is a bigger number than four.

We talked about animals that like to eat clover during our storytime today. We read books about three animals who like to eat clover - cows, sheep and rabbits. Clover can be found in the green grass that grows all around us. Singers also like to write songs about clover.

We celebrated clover today, because tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. Many people will be wearing clover or shamrocks on St. Patrick's Day. The word shamrock means little clover.

Storytime will return next week on Monday with Miss Ann & Mospy at 10am and Tuesday with Miss Pippi at 10am. Hope to see you there!
