Pippi's Printing Picks

The summer reading program is quickly speeding past and I only have a few titles to share with you today.

I read an elementary school favorite The Not-Just-Anybody Family by Betsy Byars. I haven't picked up another one in the series, but I hope to finish the entire series one day. It's just as I remembered it - one child breaking into prison to be by his Grandpa, one child slidding off the roof to fall right in front of the police man and everyone going to court to figure the whole mess out. It's a funny read about a great family.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman I listened to in the car. I started it over again, to see what I missed the first time. As I posted previously, this is a fantastic book!

ABC Book of Early Americana by Eric Sloane I found in the teen section at an area library. It's an ABC book featuring inventions of the past. I love the alphabet and history and America, so it was a fun book to read. It's a great book to bring to history class.
