Dig Into a New Storytime

Yesterday, we started our three-week Let's Grow Garden Stories Storytime at the library! It was an exciting day for stories, songs and garden fun. We wiggled like worms and danced like birds - creatures you can find in a garden. We also heard a story about Planting a Rainbow.

After storytime, we took an adventure outdoors! We planted our own...

...rainbow in the Library's Secret Garden. If you keep watching our special spot, you'll be able to see marigolds, cosmos and zinnias.

Come on back next week for another great Garden Storytime on Monday at 10am. We have more great stories and songs waiting for you!

You can also bring home your own garden books to enjoy. There is a special display in the back of the Children's Room. Check out a great book today! Here are a few fun titles...

The Trellis and the Seed by Jan Karon

Belly Button Boy by Peter Maloney

The Growing-Up Tree by Vera Rosenberry
