Story Sparklers: Colors

Our story time friends explored color this week.

We wrapped up our summer Story Sparklers series this morning with a colorful set of stories.  We read Monsters Love Color by Mike Austin, I Spy on the Farm by Edward Gibbs ,Where is the Green Sheep by Mem Fox, and Mouse Paint by Ellen Walsh.  After some singing, kids played with "no mess" fingerpaint - washable paint inside ziploc bags that they could squish around and mix up like the mice in Mouse Paint

Thank you to all of our library friends who joined us for Story Sparklers this summer - we had a great time!  In August, we'll take a break from story times to plan our fall semester of story times and programs beginning September 2nd.  Check the Children's Info desk after August 1 for our fall brochure with all the details.  See you soon!
