Hello summer reading!

We've had a wonderful start to our Fizz, Boom, Read! summer reading program this year!

It's only a couple weeks into summer, but we are already having a great time with all of our library friends.  We kicked off the beginning of our summer reading program with a concert from Randy Peterson - one of our favorite Wisconsin artists for families.  This week we hosted our first Story Walk and Sandal Hop on Tuesday evening along with sponsors from all over the Fox Cities.  Wednesday afternoon the fun continued with a visit from a new performer - Steve Dickinson of Zoomalota Magic - where we saw some awesome magic tricks and learned how to create a balloon dog!  Check out our library Flickr page for event photos and stay tuned for more summer reading fun next week:

Monday June 23rd  at 10am. -  Story time with Miss Kathy

Tuesday June 24th at 10am. - Exploring Natural Science with Heckrodt Wetlands Reserve

Wednesday June 25th at 1:30pm. - Great Scott: Magic + Science

Don't forget, there's still plenty of time to sign up for the summer reading program if you haven't already - you can sign up online here or visit us in the Children's Room.
