Celebrate National Library Week (April 13-19) in the Children's Dept with a weeklong schedule of fun informational programs for children and families.
Yoga A-Z: Exercising through the Alphabet
Children ages 4-8 are invited to attend this introduction to yoga for kids. Join Mickey and Becca for this free program which includes a 25 minute workout with a stretch or yoga pose for each letter of the alphabet. Participants will also create a pair of yoga socks as a "make-and-take" craft.
Children will need to wear comfy loose clothes and bring a beach towel or yoga mat and a pair of socks for their craft.
