All kinds of animals are getting ready for winter!
In story time this week with Dewey the dragon and I (Miss Liz), we read all about animals that hibernate, or sleep all winter long. Bears, snakes, chipmunks, and squirrels all sleep during the cold winter days when it's hard for them to find food. Our stories this week included Hibernation Station by Michelle Meadows, Leaves by David Ezra Stein, Time to Sleep by Denise Fleming, and Busy Little Squirrel by Nancy Tafuri. After story time, we made our own collage fall trees with torn pieces of paper.
Thanks for joining us for story time this week! We'll continue the story time fun next week Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10am and Monday evening at 6:30pm. See you soon!
