FINAL BRIDGET PROJECT PRESENTATION

Learn about Steve Conto's project to locate burial locations of Wisconsin veterans killed in the Vietnam War.

The Final Bridge began eleven years ago when Steve Conto wanted to create a bridge between Wisconsin veterans' names on The Vietnam Memorial Wall and their final resting places.  Each record contains the section, row and column in order to pinpoint these locations so that family, comrades and friends can easily find them.

On the Art Wall in the Miron Fireplace Room, Steve has photos, maps, stories that explain his mission.  He will host a Powerpoint presentation following his journey as he visits these burial sites.  The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

School groups are encouraged to make appointments for November 11 by calling the Reference Desk at 967-3690.
