Altered Collages and Bottles

The Library offers two great craft classes in March!

Do you enjoy scrapbooking?  Then, these two craft classes are for you!  During the past four years, we've hosted, "Altered Collages".  Using the back and front covers of books not sold in our Used Book Sale, you can create a customized/personalized collage with ribbon, quotes, family photos, stickers  - anything you might include with scrapbooking.  This spring we will introduce you to "Altered Bottles".  Take an old mason jar or soda bottle and decorate it with lace, wire, pictures, jewelry, ribbon, buttons and more to give as a gift or keep for your own collection of art.  All materials are provided.  However, if you want to bring in family photos, we can duplicate them on the copier; that way, you can keep the original for your album at home.  Registration is required.  Please call 967-3690 to reserve your spot at the craft table, or, stop by the Reference Desk on the main floor.

If you are interested in displaying your collectibles, hobbies or artwork, please contact Kathy at 967-3692.
