November's Art Wall Display

Don't miss Steve Conto's "Final Bridge" project:  locating burial sites for Wisconsin KIAs from the Vietnam War.

"The Final Bridge" began eleven years ago.  Steve wanted to create a "bridge" between Wisconsin vets' names on The Wall, and, their final resting places.  Each record contains the section, row and column in order to pinpoint these locations so that family, comrades and friends can easily find them.  On the Art Wall in the Miron Fireplace Room, Steve will have photos, maps, stories which explain his "mission".  He will host a Powerpoint presentation which follows his journey as he visits these burial sites.  The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

School groups are encouraged to make appointments for November 11, by calling the Reference Desk at 967-3690.
