Family Story Time Week #7

Can you guess what Dewey the Dragon's favorite color is?  Green, of course!

This week's Monday story times were all about the color green!  We see green all around us, in the grass, in the leaves on a tree, on a frog, on a hummingbird, and even in the peas we eat!  Our stories this week included In the Tall Tall Grass by Denise Fleming, Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, 999 Tadpoles by Ken Kimura, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  We sang about some green and speckled frogs before heading off to make our own very hungry caterpillars out of paper.

Next week is the last week of our eight-week family story time series.  Just because this story time series is ending doesn't mean there isn't anything to do here at the library - check out our events calendar for all the fun happenings at the library in April!   Join us once again at 10am & 6:30pm on Monday or at 10am on Tuesday for our last winter sessions of family story time.  See you soon!
