When the snow starts to drip, drop, melt away we know spring is almost here!
This week in Monday story times with Dewey the Dragon and I, Miss Liz., we talked about the changes that we see when winter ends and spring begins. We learned that when the weather warms up, we see rain instead of snow falling from the sky and this rain helps grass, leaves and plants begin to grow! This week's books included Let It Snow by Maryann Cocca-Leffler, Snow Rabbit, Spring Rabbit by Il Sung Na, Snow by Manya Stojic, and Splish, Splash Spring by Jan Carr. After our stories, raindrop rhymes, and songs we made our own paper rain clouds & rain drops. In case you missed this week's story time or you're looking for more spring-themed fun, check out our book activity pages for Hello Spring!
Story time fun continues next week on Monday at 10am & 6:30pm with me, Miss Liz and on Tuesday at 10am with Miss Pippi. See you soon!
