This week in Monday story times with Dewey & Miss Liz, we read all about stars!
Stars are sparkling in the sky everywhere, every night, even if we can't see them. We read all about stars this week with Stars by Mary Lyn Ray, a short story from Little Chick by Amy Hest, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by Jerry Pinkney and How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers. We also counted out shiny stars on our flannel board and sang our ABC's before making our own shooting stars out of paper to hang up at home. If you missed story time this week, or are just looking for more story time fun, check out our new book activity pages! We've gathered story time themed books, rhymes, songs, and activities for families to try on their own. Click the link or visit the Children's book section of our website!
Family story times continue next week with me, Miss Liz on Monday at 10am & 6:30pm and with Miss Pippi on Tuesday at 10am. We're also celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday next week Tuesday March 5th at 6:30pm in the Children's Room. See you soon!
