COMPUTER CLASS-EMAIL II

Check the library's calendar for all computer classes offered at the library this month.  Some are in Spanish!

Today you need an email account to do just about everything online: reserve a hotel room, apply for a job, participate in chat or instant messaging, bid on auction items, belong to listservs and more.  In this class you will learn how to sign up for a free e-mail account.  We will take a tour of the account so you understand where to check for new messages, where to store them or delete them, set up a contacts list and other customized settings. An understanding of basic Internet navigation is helpful in addition to experience with the Windows desktop.
