We hosted another Passport to Nature program at the library!
On Tuesday morning, Andrea from Heckrodt Wetland Reservevisited us here at the Menasha Library to help us learn all about night time animals that live right here in Wisconsin! Some of the nocturnal creatures we learned about included racoons, possums, & owls! Andrea told us all about how these animals see & hear at night in the dark & how they hunt for food. We had a great time learning about nocturnal animals - if you'd like to learn more you can always visit the Heckrodt Wetland Reserve right here in Menasha or visit us here at the library for some great books about nocturnal animals. Thanks to Andrea for coming to visit & share with us & thanks to all our library friends who came to the program!
We'll be taking a break from our Wednesday program next week to celebrate the 4th of July, but check back on July 11th at 1:30pm for a fun concert with Randy Peterson!
