Raccoons!

On Monday, we hosted our first Story Sparklers Family Storytime session! We focused on nocturnal animals, particularly the raccoon. The raccoon sleeps during the day and hunts for food during the night. Did you know that raccoons wash their food before they eat it? Pretty cool!

We started the morning with a new welcome song from Greg & Steve. Then we read raccoon books with other nocturnal animals, a mother raccoon and finally raccoons who make a lot of noise! After storytime, everyone made little raccoons to take home with them. It was a great day at storytime! We hope you join us next week for another Story Sparkler session with Miss Liz. If you can't make it on Monday, we have the Brain Walk on Tuesday night at 6pm and a concert with David Dall on Wednesday at 1:30pm. We can't wait to see you at the library!

We're open:

Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm
