Moose Stories

Hey there library friends!  We had another rockin' week in story time!

This week, we read all about an animal that's really tall, has antlers, and likes to eat muffins: the moose!  Our stories included The Lonely Moose by John Segal, If You Give a Moose A Muffin by Laura Numeroff, Moose on the Loose by  Kathy Jo Wargin , and Ernest the Moose Who Doesn't Fit by Catherine Rayner.  We used our "antlers" as resting places for birdies passing by, and counted our way through a rhyme about a moose who loves to eat muffins!  After story time with Dewey, we made our own moose antler headbands by tracing our hands on construction paper!  Stop in for more story time fun next week Monday at 10am or 6:30pm or on Tuesday morning at 10am with Miss Pippi!

Next week is our last week of Family Story Times until June - in the meantime we've got lots of fun preschool programs & special story times to keep you busy:
