Menasha Library Holds Gatsby Party/Book Discussion

Jay Gatsby may not attend his own parties, but the Elisha D. Smith Public Library at 440 First Street in Menasha invites you to attend theirs at 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, in the library’s lower level main meeting room.

The party will include a discussion of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, moderated by Dr. Scott Emmert, Professor of English at UW—Fox Valley.  Registration is not required.  Those attending are encouraged to dress for the period:  The Roaring 20’s.

All attendees will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the 7:30 pm performance of The Great Gatsby at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in downtown Appleton on Thursday, March 19, by the Montana Repertory.

All programs at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library are free and for everyone.  Those with special needs are encouraged to call the library office at 967-3662 within 24 hours of an event to assure that specific needs with regards to parking, building and meeting room accessibility are met.
