Clothes Around the World

Monday morning brought us our final Story Sparklers Family Storytime for One World, Many Stories. We celebrated with the theme Clothes Around the World. We learned about hats people wear around the world. We even had a guessing game in a book! After the game we danced along to the song Hat on My Head. We also found out animals can wear hats, just not the usual way. We enjoyed that story and hopped up to dance along with a Laurie Berkner tune Bring Your Clothes. We finished off our storytime with a Russian folk song and a book about a goblin who wears a scarf to cover his frightening face.

If you missed our last storytime, never fear! Here is an activity page for you to enjoy with your family or friends. Our next One World, Many Stories activities will be Crafts Around the World on August 17th and Movie Day on August 24th. Both events begin at 1:30pm on Wednesday. We hope to see you at the library!
