Join us for the 2011 Fox Cities Reads event with a presentation by this year's author, Luis Alberto Urrea. Mr. Urrea will discuss his work with a focus on The Devil's Highway. This work of nonfiction, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, tells the story of 26 men who set out to cross the U.S./Mexico border in 2001. Their personal harrowing tales are told in the context of the larger poltical and economic realities that both countries struggle with. Multiple copies of this book, along with Urrea's novel, Into the Beautiful North, are availabe at public libraries throughout the Fox Cities.
