Stuffed Animal Sleepover !

What better way to end the week than with a special party with our stuffy friends!  On Friday, the Children's Room hosted a stuffed animal sleepover - kids and their beloved stuffed animals gathered in our story room for some fun & silly bedtime stories before tucking the animals into bed for the night.

Unfortunately, we must not have tucked our friends in tight enough....the next morning, all of our stuffy friends where not where we left them the night before!  Not only that, but our camera was full of pictures of the animals doing all sorts of crazy things all over the library!  Using the self check machine, reading each other stories, having a dance party, and playing in the toy closet!  If you don't believe me, check out the photos on our Flickr page

Thanks to all the library friends who came to our Stuffed Animal sleepover making it a success!  If you were at the story time with your stuffy animal, you can pick up a picture of your stuffed animal as a souvenir at the Children's Info desk the next time you come into the library - and don't forget to come pick up your stuffy friend if you haven't done so already!

If you missed the Stuffed Animal Sleepover, don't worry, we have lots of fun activities coming up at the library this week!  There's story time with Miss Liz and Dewey at 10am and 6:30pm on Monday as well as at 10am on Tuesday with Miss Pippi!  On Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 7:15pm we're celebrating everything Seuss!!  We're hosting a party to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with games, crafts, and maybe even some Green Eggs and Ham!  On Wednesday we are hosting a Japanese Doll Festival Celebration with crafts, songs, and a special performance by students from Clovis Grove from 4:00-4:45pm so come on in to the Children's Room this week to join in the fun!
