Community Blood Drive

The Community Blood Center will conduct a Blood Drive at the Library on Monday, July 28th, from 3 - 6 pm. Walk-ins are always welcome!! However, scheduling an appointment in advance helps ensure a speedy donation for all.

Age 18-36 mos. with an Adult
During Toddler Trails, your toddler will use touch to explore textures, sight to learn about shapes and colors, smell to experience pleasant and offensive odors, sound to experience various stimuli, and taste to explore foods from natural products.
Children of all ages are invited to stop in and visit our do-it-yourself "Bug Crafts" table on Tuesdays in August anytime we are open! Go buggy making spider headbands, glowing fireflies, beautiful butterfly notebooks, and more.

Children going into 2nd-5th grades are invited to join us as "Wii" play favorite fun electronic games: Raving Rabids; Wii Sports; Mario Cart and Mario Party 8.
Hands2Grow Puppet Show
Children and families are invited to a performance of Hands2Grow Puppetry in the lower level of the library. Cassie Payne and her troupe of puppeteers with over one hundred puppets will be on hand to entertain children and families with stellar puppetry in this free program .
