The Children's Dept and City of Menasha Park and Rec Dept invite children and families to a free concert with Skippy and Dave at the Smith Park pavilion. Dave weaves together song, music, ventriloquism, stories, and jokes with his friends, Skippy and Company.

Bug Scapes Mural Making

 Spiderwick Chronicles Pre-Teen Movie

Kids ages eight and up are invited to the DVD premiere showing of this adventure fantasy movie based on the popular Spiderwick books. The Grace siblings--Simon, Jared, and Mallory--move into their uncle's secluded old estate and notice that strange things start happening. Now it's up to them to learn the unbelievable truth about the house--and of the amazing creatures that inhabit it. This movie is rated PG for scary creature action, so those faint of heart beware!

Nature’s Guide Science-palooza

Michigan based author Bill Jamerson will present a music and storytelling program about the Civilian Conservation Corps at the Menasha Public Library on Wednesday, July 16 at 6:30 pm. The hour-long program includes showing a short clip from his award winning PBS film on the CCC, Camp Forgotten, reading excerpts from his novel BIG SHOULDERS and also playing original songs about the CCC with his guitar. Bill has presented his program at numerous CCC reunions around the country. The CCC celebrated its 75th Anniversary in April.
