04 / 26 (event) Children's Author Rick Chrustowski to Visit Menasha! Start: 10:00 am End: 11:00 am Children's Author Coming to Menasha! Rick Chrustowski will do a presentation for the public as part of an Earth Day celebration at the Heckrodt Wetland Reserve. Chrustowski, a Wisconsin author (http://www.rickchrustowski.com/), is the writer and illustrator of a number of science picture books for children. He uses dramatic close-ups to give children a memorable look into the life cycle of creatures common to our area. His books, written for children ages 4-8, are well reviewed and found in libraries, schools and bookstores throughout the country. Children can explore many literacies - nature, ecology and reading - just by turning the colorful pages and engaging in Mr. Chrustowksi's wonderful writing style more info
