On Monday during Story Sparklers Family Story Time, we learned about numbers, counting, and measuring. We started by reading about animals running into a hill hollow to escape a big storm. Our other books included two books about birds - one on different height words and another about an owl who was learning to count!

Here's a new activity sheet for your science notebook.  This week we're focusing on our five senses - sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing.  Download a copy to print at home here or visit our Summer Science page

Check back next week for a new page for your notebook - enjoy!

The summer fun continued yesterday with an afternoon of magic and science from Doc Ron (aka Rodini!)

Over 200 library friends joined us Wednesday afternoon for a great time of fun, magic and laughs with Doc Ron and his fluffy assistant.  Check out our snapshots from the event on the library Flickr page
