Hello library friends! This week marks the beginning of fall family storytimes and yesterday was my first official storytime here in the Children's Room!  It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces ready and eager for story time!  We read some wonderful dragon books to welcome our new storytime friend, Dewey the Dragon!  Dewey will be joining me (Miss Liz) every Monday at 10 am and 6:30 pm for stories until November 1 - I hope you can come down and meet him next week!

Graphics Novels are books written in panels or comic-strip format. They are fantastic if you like to see pictures, actions and emotions while you read a book. The Teen Zone hosted a Graphic Novels section for a long time. Now the Children's Room is making room for their own Graphic Novels section (We won't forget to mention general fiction in the adult section either.) If you like to browse through the bookshelves, look for the red sticker located on the book spines. The sticker looks like the image to your right. You'll see these stickers throughout the library.

Pie is a wonderful treat for all ages. We celebrated books about pie during our last Fall storytime with Miss Pippi.
