The summer fun continued this week with a science themed visit from Jim Lenz.
Let's explore numbers and measurements!
On Monday during Story Sparklers Family Story Time, we learned about numbers, counting, and measuring. We started by reading about animals running into a hill hollow to escape a big storm. Our other books included two books about birds - one on different height words and another about an owl who was learning to count!
This week we discovered some great adventure titles we think young readers (especially boys) will enjoy!
Mission Unstoppable by Dan Gutman
The Genius Files series #1
Travels of Thelonius by Susan Schade
The Fog Mound #1
Let's explore our five senses!
Here's a new activity sheet for your science notebook. This week we're focusing on our five senses - sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. Download a copy to print at home here or visit our Summer Science page.
Check back next week for a new page for your notebook - enjoy!
