If you're familiar with Google, you probably know all about their neat programs to help with everyday life. They have email, a search engine, maps, calendar and more. Two of my favorite Google products are Google Reader and Google Book Search. Google Reader takes the blogs you like to follow and puts them in place for you to enjoy.
Last weeks excellent blog tour Share a Story - Shape a Future ended the week with Technology and Reading. The Children's room has great technology resources including playaways, books on CD, packets with a book and CD, books on cassette, packets with a book and cassette and downloadable audiobooks available on the online catalogue. These audio items are great for relaxing around the house, listening to on a car ride or enjoying while taking a walk.

We talked about sheep in our final storytime today. Classic rhymes about sheep include Mary had a Little Lamb, Little Bo Peep and Baa, Baa Black Sheep.
