One challenge done and another ready to go! It's the Forty Books Challenge at the Menasha Public Library. Students in grades K-5 are encouraged to read 40 books during the Be Creative @ Your Library Reading Program this summer. I plan to read at least 40 books this summer, so far...

The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick

The final night of reading and the last early morning update...

I dug out an old classic to read before taking a sleeping break. One of my classic childhood books is Mandy by Julie (Andrews) Edwards. Throughout childhood Mandy always inspired me to dream big. It's a fantastic story about a little girl who discovers a special place and makes it her own. I should read this book every year.
